I spent the night at a great hotel called the Silverton. This is actually the place recommended by the Las Vegas faire, and it's far superior to the Excalibur. The rooms are huge, clean, and quiet. I got a pretty good nights sleep so I'd be fresh for the faire.

Of course, my internal alarm clock woke me up at 5am as usual, defeating my plans to sleep late. Ah well.

Najila (Kelly) picked me up at the hotel around 9:30am. We had some food, then headed over to the faire grounds. The weather was totally clear and warm, a big difference from the day before.

I was planning on leaving very early in the afternoon, perhaps 2pm, as I had a flight to catch.

I watched the Oojam show (which was excellent), then wandered around the faire. I ran into two very good friends: D'arci and her husband, took a few pictures of them and moved on.

I had a lot of fun with the faeries; ladies wearing wings. This faire seems to have far more ladies wearing faery wings than any other faire I've attended. I ran into a lady with gorgeous red wings and a trio of beautiful ladies with homemade wings.

I was surprised to find out that Las Vegas has it's own version of the "man lunch". Unfortunetely, the lunch is done behind a roped off area and patrons are not allowed in the area. This changed it into more of a private lunch for the male participants than a show for the patrons. Truthfully, I prefer the style of man-lunch at Southern, Northern and Kearney Park as these are done in such as way as to allow patrons to actually see what's happening and feel more part of the show.

That's about all that happened. I was rushed at that point, as I had to get to the airport to catch my flight home.
